Matthew 4:3

And the Tempter having come to him said, 'If Son you are of God -- speak that these stones may become loaves.'

Matthew 5:3

'Blessed the poor in spirit -- because theirs is the reign of the heavens.

Matthew 5:4

'Blessed the mourning -- because they shall be comforted.

Matthew 5:5

'Blessed the meek -- because they shall inherit the land.

'Blessed those hungering and thirsting for righteousness -- because they shall be filled.
